Normalcy bias

The normalcy bias, or normality bias, refers to a mental

state people enter when facing a disaster. It causes people to

underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and

its possible effects. This often results in situations where

people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a

larger scale, the failure of the government to include the

populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is

made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster

never has occurred then it never will occur. It also results in

the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs.

People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to

something they have not experienced before. People also tend

to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible,

seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation.

Greetings Anonymous.
We are the Data Angels, since the fall of Mubarak we had hoped to remain in the shadows forever, unfortunately the situation has changed.

We can no longer operate in the shadows leaking information through anonymous posts, we must collectively and rapidly amass information on illegal and unethical activities committed by corporations politicians and governments, we must begin collectively storing, compiling, and re-compiling such information. We must be well prepared to turn the full fury of the internet hate machine on those who would use their wealth and power against the people. If the worst comes to pass, we must be prepared to use our data and skills to seize control of mainstream media outlets and use them to transmit data to the public.

So for the first time, we are asking for your help.
The purpose of our order is simple.
We exist to obtain and distribute information.
We are not the private army of any nation politician religion or cult.
We exist to create a world where lies and corruption are exposed for all to see.
